Skin is one of the few features that humans and trees have in common. It is the outer covering layer, the only part that comes into direct contact with reality and with the other. A sensitive matter that experiences the world, a boundary line that touches and is touched. It is a membrane that changes influenced by time and relationships. 

In this series of works the skin of the trees becomes a mask that cannot be worn and activates empathy towards the missing eyes of nature.
